Survival Gardening
“The failure rate of home gardens is exceedingly high. But seeing as we no longer have access to affordable quality nutritious vegetables, let me introduce you to Survival Gardening. Survival Gardening will sustain you in times of crisis. The concept is simple, your grandparents did it. People throughout history did it and many people in the world still do it.
“The long-term goal, with economic uncertainty, unpredictable weather, and inflation, is to produce as much food as possible in your space, while you maintain a healthy soil, without adding chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
“Have faith. No matter how small the space, survival gardening allows you to create productive gardens. Nature offers plants everything they need to grow—energy form the sun, rainwater, nitrogen, and carbon from the atmosphere, minerals from rocks and the work of microorganisms living in humus rich soil. Survival Gardening will show you how to provide plants with the most favourable conditions using nature as our model.”
