Bottle Pop’ ft Devolo is set for digital release in NZ on 23 February.
If 2008 was a boom year for Devolo, then 2009 is shaping up to be even bigger with the announcement he’ll feature on the new Pussycat Dolls single ‘Bottle Pop’.
Last year saw the humble Tongan-born MC and Deceptikonz member release his solo album Heaven and Hell, which spawned the hits ‘Somebody’ and ‘Too Shy’. And The Pussycat Dolls have been conquering airwaves worldwide with their massive latest singles ‘When I Grow Up’ and ‘I Hate This Part’.
The album version of ‘Bottle Pop’ features Snoop Dogg, but Interscope Records requested a local rapper to fill those shoes for the New Zealand release of the single. And after being wowed by Devolo’s talents, his version of the song will be officially released digitally in New Zealand on Monday 23 February.
‘Bottle Pop’ will be the next Pussycat Dolls single and Devolo’s version is presently being mixed and mastered in the US by the people behind Doll Domination.
The Pussycat Dolls will be bringing their live show to Auckland later this year for a 16 May concert at Vector Arena.
