100th Birthday Celebration of the Ōtorohanga Railway Station

This is a free community event to celebrate the 100th birthday of the Ōtorohanga Railway Station. We will be closing Wahanui Crescent and opening it up to 50+ market stalls. There will be live entertainment including a magician, balloon twister, live music, cake cutting ceremony and more happening on the main stage.

Jump on Toby, the Mitre 10 Train to take you to the other events going on in the town. There will be vintage vehicles and machines on display outside the Ōtorohanga Club, Children's colouring in competition and activities at the library and an exhibition at both the museum and railway station.

There are two return tickets on the Northern Explorer up for grabs for the best dressed on the day, so dust off those 1920's outfits and come and help us celebrate.
