New Zealand joining the space race: Are we concerned?
Our speaker this month is Rosie Cawthorne, Science Communication, University of Otago. Rosie is in receipt of a Study Abroad Studentship from the Leverhulme Trust.

New Zealand is becoming increasingly involved in space, as shown by the rapidly growing local space industry. In 2022, the space agency asked New Zealanders to share the values they would like to see upheld by the space sector. In 2024, she asked New Zealanders to share their worries and concerns about the sector. Spoiler: there are many.
