The Managers have emerged after 12 months in the studio with their brand new 15-track album Take It Or Leave It.

After three years road testing these songs around NZ and Australia, they are ready for release - the self proclaimed 'thinking woman's hoodlums' have indeed arrived on centre stage.

Take It Or Leave It is a testament to the different musical tastes and influences that have inspired the writing of this album, encapsulating everything from the swing of Severed Ties to the grinding metal grooves of 2 Sides.

With themes from the comedic to the politically conscious, a horn driven sextet comprising of trumpet, tenor sax, acoustic and electric guitars, keys, drums, bass and multiple vocalists, The Managers maintain the spirit and sound of that has kept dancehalls pumping for decades.

The band have toured with Ska originators The Skatalites, The Beat, Neville Staples Specials, and shared the stage with Cat Empire and Fat Freddy's Drop.

The Managers first release in 1996 was the sell-out independent four-track EP titled Infiltrator, and in 2004/05 Special, the bands aptly named debut album lifted floorboards throughout NZ and Australia.
Unleashed on the world in 2007 The Managers new album is out on A&R records... Take It Or Leave It.
