Award winning comedian Jeff Green has established himself as one of the most popular comics working in the UK today. Jeff's razor-sharp observations combined with an abundant natural charm have marked him out as one of the brightest talents on the British comedy scene. He returns to Auckland to host the Cadbury Crunchie Comedy Gala and perform two nights of his acclaimed new show, “Life Ache” at SKYCITY Theatre.

Not content with taking the stand-up world by storm, Green is a best selling author with his series of books “The A-Z of”, chronicling life, romance and childbirth. He has appeared in many popular British television including – “Nevermind The Buzzcocks”, “They Think It’s All Over” and “Hot Potatoes.” Green’s fifth appearance on “…Buzzcocks” was a record setting feat; giving this exceptional comedian pop culture status.

A Perrier Award nominee at the Edinburgh festival and hugely popular figure in UK comedy scene, Jeff took Australia by storm in his 1997 performances at Melbourne and Sydney’s comedy festivals, playing to sell-out audiences all the while writing and performing in his own television specials back in the United Kingdom. His first sell out solo tour documented in 1996’s “Jeff Green Live”, filmed at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End.

With the latest crop of British and international talent emerging throughout the new millennium, Green’s popularity seldom waned, turning his hand by becoming an author, presenting radio for BBC Radio 2, showing his culinary skills in “Celebrity Masterchef” and releasing his first audio CD, “Jeff Green – Debauched Cherub.”

An instant sell out performer each time he steps into the Edinburgh Festival’s season of events, don’t mind an evening of astute and hilarious observations as Jeff Green’s “Life Ache” plays the NZ International Comedy Festival for two nights only!
