American gospel, blues and jazz singers are a rare treat, but Simply JP – described as 'A Black Rose Ever So Sweet' is one of the best.

Like an organic punctuation mark, whether it is pop, jazz or the blues, Simply JP brings to the stage her life’s appreciation and dashing flares of expression in music. The statuesque and charismatic singer combines her musical background in a capella singing, gospel, blues and jazz to create an unforgettable performance. She has toured the world and shared the stage with such notable artists as Ronnie Milsap, Etta James, Willie Nelson, Michael Bolton, the late Phyllis Hyman and Betty Carter.

This performance will be a festival highlight and a night to remember. Simply JP (vocals), Barry Brinson (Musical Director, piano and Hammond organ), Bob Heinz (guitar), Michael Bell (bass), Nola Mills (blues harmonica), Greg Donaldson (drums).
