A dozen Australian performers sing and play sacred and secular music from mediaeval to contemporary in the beautiful hall at the Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School.

Repertoire for this tour will include sacred and secular choral music from mediaeval (with period instruments), through Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and Romantic to contemporary compositions, as well as numerous rounds and community songs from many parts of the globe, some with mime and dance

Wayfarers share a common belief that the singing of beautiful, sincere, heartfelt choral music is one of the most important of human activities, and helps us all, singers and listeners alike, to transcend our common ills and petty concerns, and find a universal truth / beauty / goodness.

Directed by Judith Clingan AM, composer, conductor, performer, music theatre creator, multi-arts educator.

Judith is one of Australia's foremost composers and music educators. She is also acknowledged for her contributions to Australian contemporary music theatre and as a leading choral music director and conductor. She has received numerous awards and fellowships including a Membership of the Order of Australia for her services to music.

Wayfarers can also offer workshops in choral singing, music for young children, early European music, or music theatre.
