Padare Returns To The Stage . . .

Following the huge success of the play, His Excellency Is In Love on 14 June 2008 at TAPAC, the new African Theatre group, Padare, is thrilled to inform you that the play returns on the stage on 19 July 2008 at the Salvation Army Hall in Queen Street, Auckland City.

The Auckland audience can look forward to yet another night of fireworks as they are led by hand right into the sacred office of an African dictator whose grip to power has left the whole world in shock while a nation crumbles to the ground like an abandoned city.

His Excellency Is In Love, a political satire written by Auckland based banned writer Stanley Makuwe, starring some of Africa's top upcoming stage performers, Froncois Byamana, Devona Brown, George Mubayiwa and Solomon Nyamaza features South Africa's Zulu traditional dancers, Taste of Africa.

Formed in February 2008, Padare has taken theatre lovers by storm and the first sell-out show at TAPAC shall be talked about for a long time.

Another big night hangs in the air.

To book either email: or phone (021) 132 8722.
