Fundraiser to save the Repertory Theatre with live performances from Module, Pine, and Flip Grater with band.

Hosted by Whammo (KiwiFM) and Spanky (RDU).

The Repertory Theatre has a proud history, having hosted live performances in Christchurch since 1929, and it looks forward to its 400th production this year.

Though 2008 welcomes another year of great entertainment for this bastion of live performance, it is found in desperate need of earthquake strengthening and renovation.

The Theatre is a protected site, but the Repertory will be forced to close, and may fall into the hands of commercial developers, if sufficient funds are not raised to complete a planned theatre ‘re-stage’.

To raise awareness and funds for the Repertory Theatre, and many more buildings like it across the country, a unique concert featuring Jeremiah Ross (aka Module), Pine and Flip Grater, will take place in July.

This seated concert event will showcase these local gems in the less conventional setting of this stunning theatre.

Tickets from Real Groovy and Underground Coffee Ticket Stores.
