The recital has been postponed due to a car accident, in which Kevin Field was hit by a drunk driver and is in hospital. He will not be well enough to perform on Monday 23 June. A new date is currently being arranged. Carolina Moon would like to extend apologies to anyone who had planned on attending her recital Monday 23 June and hope they will be able to go to the new date when announced.

Carolina Moon, acclaimed for her album East of the Sun, released on Moon Musik and distributed by Global Routes last year, is performing a special recital for her Music Masters Degree, showcasing both her jazz and Mediterranean medieval and traditional song talents.

The musicians featured will be Roger Manins - tenor, soprano saxophones, bass clarinet; Kevin Field – piano; Andy Atwill - double bass and electric bass and Ron Samsom - drumset and hand drums.

The second set will be the Mediterranean material which include a 12th Century antiphon by Hildegard von Bingen, Cantigas de Santa Maria, Muswashshah and Sephardic song from Adalusia, Al Andalus and contemporary pieces by Ms Moon and Jan Garberek. Musicians accompanying Carolina Moon will feature Nigel Gavin - electric oud, banjo, mandolin; Jess Hinden – violin and Jayne Tankersley – soprano.
