An engrossing, funny and moving account of how far a woman reporter will go to get her story.

Inspired by the hunt for Keith Murdoch, the only man to be expelled from the All Blacks, the play is an intimate portrayal of the collision of two giants, the Media and Rugby.

Finding Murdoch answers questions about the mystery and intrigue that still surrounds Murdoch's disappearance.

Legend has it that, unable to face the disgrace at home, Murdoch disappeared into self-imposed exile in Australia - fact or fiction? You be the judge.

Set in 1990, the pioneering days of the independent television industry, Finding Murdoch examines the power of the media and the right of privacy.

At the same time it chronicles an incident which has become part of New Zealand's folklore and rugby heritage.
