The Improv Bandits, the renegades of New Zealand comedy are saying “Goodbye.” Actually, make that “Bon Voyage”, because the stalwarts of NZ comedy have been invited to perform in a Belgium improv festival in Leuven at the end of March.

To celebrate, The Improv Bandits are performing two ‘bon voyage’ shows on Easter Weekend - the 20 and 22 March (Thursday and Saturday). These are the only two shows you can catch The Improv Bandits before this year’s Comedy Festival.

The Improv Bandits are NZ’s improv success story having won a world championship at the Chicago Improv Festival, the home of improv comedy and auditioned for TV’s Whose Line Is It Anyway? They have had their live show produced by HBO Warner Brothers at the TV Workspace and performed at The Improv in Hollywood.

The Improv Bandits have shared the stage with comedy heavyweights such as Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyway?), Dan Castenella (voice of Homer from The Simpsons) and George Wendt (Norm from Cheers) and starred in the 2004 Comedy Gala on TV2.
