Hot Club Sandwich, based in Wellington, have been entertaining audiences all over Australasia for over a decade. Their unique combination of swinging "Hot Club" rhythm, scorching improvised solos, tight three-part vocal harmonies and snappy lyrics get feet tapping and funny-bones snapping.

HCS play an indefinable style that is equal parts jazz, blues and country swing. Andrew London’s quirky, slightly satirical original songs have become the backbone of the trio’s repertoire.

Guitarist Andrew London, bass player Terry "The Engine Room" Crayford and multi-instrumentalist Nils Olsen, who solos on clarinet, sax and flute, are joined by Christchurch’s own guitar guru, Bob Heinz.
