Life and death, faith and doubt: the acclaimed vocal group The Boston Camerata draws on a repertoire of early American songs with universal themes for this concert.

Featuring music from songbooks of most of the various religious groups that settled in America, this rich and diverse programme rejoices in melodic invention, fresh spontaneous harmonies and spiritual strength. It explores the links between English and early American music, keeping tradition alive and relevant for the modern New World.

Founded in 1954, The Boston Camerata tours extensively and performs historically informed European and American music of the mediaeval, renaissance and baroque eras.

Enrich your soul with the inspiring spirit of these traditional songs from the Boston Camerata.

The Boston Camerata also perform live with the Tero Saarinen Company in Borrowed Light.

Director Joel Cohen
