The Six O’clock Swill is a monthly series of one act plays held at Mighty Mighty on Cuba Street, Wellington, New Zealand.

March brings Breaking and Entering from New Zealand writer Dean Hewison (Brain Power, FootBallistic and The Henchman). Robbie and Cole are two burglars, breaking into a house for your ordinary run-of-the-mill burglary. Things fall apart, however, when the occupants of the house return unexpectedly early.

Director: Dean Hewison Cast: Simon Smith, Jonny Potts, Barry Lakeman & Marjorie McKee

Listeners by Jane Martin. Eleanor Leftwich is a law-abiding citizen, but technology has identified her to the government as someone who might be holding a few grudges. When her assigned listeners descend to offer her the chance to speak directly to the big guy, she speaks freely.

Director: Gene Alexander Cast: Jennifer Thompson, Walter McGinnis & Nathan Green

And our hilarious improvised saga MAGNUM: The Lost Episodes continues with episodes nine and 10 . . . with more pop culture plots, cutting edge improv, mayhem, mirth and moustaches!

So for only $8 you get three one act plays performed by some of Wellington’s finest talent – all in one of Wellington’s funkiest bars, Mighty Mighty!

So come on down, grab a pint and enjoy an evening of culture.
