Whangarei's Quarry Gardens are spectacular at any time, and now, with works by 30 local artists set amongst the rocks and sub-tropical plants, by the lake and stream, they are truly enchanting! The art selection includes works that are beautiful, quirky and fun - including something that would enhance your garden, be it large or small.

This exciting group show comes very much alive on Sunday 9 March, when the artists will be there to meet the public and also to sell a few smaller works in addition to their catalogued pieces. Some artists will also be on-site at various times on Friday and Saturday.

Whangarei has the largest (per capita) community of working artists of any area of New Zealand. This exciting event includes high quality work by a selection of those artists, set off to perfection by the stunning Quarry Gardens.

A two day weaving workshop will be run on-site by Toi Te Rito Maihi on 7th & 8th March. Email ballater@clear.net.nz to participate in the workshop or for further info.

Refreshments available and there will be cool, live music each lunch-time.
