National Percussion Day '08

Celebrating New Zealand Music Month, the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra presents National Percussion Day. This is a fun and educational day featuring a diverse variety of percussion experiences, led by New Zealand experts in a hands-on environment.

The event also features one the world's leading jazz vibraphonist experts: American Stefon Harris, described by the Los Angeles Times as "one of the most important young artists in jazz".

Workshops include jazz, rock, timpani, djembe, taiko, samba and orchestral percussion. Whatever your level of expertise, and whatever your musical genre, Percussion Day has you covered.

Tickets cost includes morning tea, lunch and dinner.
