Impact Pro Wrestling returns to North Shore City as IPW presents Breakdown 2008!

This past month, IPW’s fifth anniversary show, Genesis, saw an Xtreme Superstar once again lay claim to the fact he is far from done on his quest to capture the belt from Dal Knox.

Jordan Invincible was unsuccessful in his hopes of capturing IPW gold just months ago, but his recent success in tag-team action has earned him the right to once again step up to challenge "The Deal" Dal Knox for the coveted strap.

After Dal Knox's original partner Lil T was brutalized by a vicious and calculated attack at the hands of XS, it was a heroic Fire Ant who tried to even the odds by teaming with Dal Knox, but it was all in vain as Jordan Invincible crushed the Ant, sending a message that he's ready for one more shot at the gold.

In his way once again is the NZ champion who has continued to rise above the Xtreme odds, and has perhaps shown the most heart ever seen in a champion in this country's history. IPW Champion Dal Knox is ready once again to take on the might of Invincible, with heart, passion and the devasting Knox Out on his side.

Will this be the moment where Knox slays the Onehunga dragon once and for all? Or will it be time for an Xtreme reign to run rampant over IPW?

It's "The Deal" Dal Knox vs Jordan Invincible for the IPW NZ Championship May 31st!

Also at Breakdown, Alfred Valentine and "The One" Vinny Dunn wage war once again with the intensity reaching all new levels!

After being suspended for an illegal attack, posing as Vinny Dunn in a match and battling to a time limit draw, Valentine has "The One" in his sights yet again, but this time Dunn is far from his laid back Coast self - this time he's angry.

"The One" Vinny Dunn knows the recent time limit draw was only a taste of what the Swiss wrestling machine is all about, and that if he's to counter the trickery and experience of "The Ex Patriot" this time around, he'll need all his power and brawn to leave with the victory!

Also, things won’t be for the faint of heart as two of NZ's biggest names get set to tear each other apart in a tables match!

After recent months of confrontations between IPW management in the form of Kommissioner Kool and Jon E King, things are set to break down as these to stars try to settle things with the aid of a little friend from their past . . . a table!

At Genesis, King held a bloodied Mischa in his hands, demanding that Kommissioner Kool step in the ring and fight the former 3 time IPW NZ champion one on one.

Fearing for the safety of Mischa, “The Kommish” accepted the challenge and locked up with King. However, being unprepared and out of action for years, he fell to the Silencer Superkick. Still, Kool knew that what King got that night was Kommissioner Kool, and not the Daddy Kool of old. As such, he challenged Jon E King to a match which would awaken the sleeping giant by returning to one of his old favourites - a tables match!

Daddy Kool is back and he's not coming alone . . . will King be left laying in the remains of a table, wishing he'd never have messed with Kool? Or will the dominance of King be too much to handle for a returning Daddy Kool? Find out at Breakdown!

Also, the animalistic future of IPW is set to continue on its path, with Alexander once again meeting Joesph Kinkade in singles action!

Kinkade will find it hard to focus – his loss to “The Samoan Silverback” at Genesis means that his manager, Gary O Davis, must parade around at Breakdown in a gorilla suit.

Can Joesph Kinkade tame the animal that Alexander has become? Or will this be another victim left to waste in the jungle of "The Silverback?"

Also, in a grudge match sure to be filled with impact, Lil T will be looking to teach Davey Deluxeo respect 828-style after the vicious attack received at the hands of the Armageddon Cup Champion at Genesis!
