A recent article in Time that said New York, London and Hong Kong were three hub cities of the world. Hub cities are cities where what happens in those cities affects the rest of the world. Unlimited Potential think the Wellington should be added to the list, and on 6 May, we'll have a panel of Wellingtonians to tell you why.

This event is all about the reasons why people are choosing to live and work in Wellington - the new Southern hemisphere 'hub'. Why Wellington desires the title of ICT capital, or Creative capital.

In conjunction with the Wellies, Unlimited Potential will bring you a panel discussion. We'll put together people who have taken the leap to Wellington from the four corners of the world, and discuss the reasons they chose Wellington. We'll open the floor for questions and opportunities to tell your stories, at a relaxed, traditional UP networking event.

We'll bring you details of the proposed panelists shortly (we're still trying to find an ex-pat Australian who has moved to Wellington) - but for now - book the night of Tuesday May 6th in your calendar. The venue will likely be an inner city Bar, to be announced shortly. We're expecting a fairly full house - so please RSVP now at http://UP.org.nz/a-tale-of-four-cities , and bring your friends. UP and the Wellies will provide refreshments and a bar tab. As always, UP events are free to attend.

For those ex-pat New Zealanders, or even those considering a move to Wellington and not here yet - we hope to have the event online and streaming live - to allow you too to ask questions of our panelists.

If you're keen to be involved or have a nominee for the panel let us know. I you have some questions or a story - then do contact us at UP - email Jo-Expat08 at UP.org.nz
