Tauranga National Art Awards

New Zealand’s best artists will be hoping to win the top awards at the inaugural Tauranga national art awards.

The exhibition will be open to the public from Monday, 10th November to Sunday, 16th November.

The eleven award - winning artworks will be auctioned on Wednesday, 12 November 2008 at 6 pm, after the auction the artworks will remain in place for the duration of the exhibition.

Proceeds from the auction go towards the community project Homes of Hope.

All other artworks will remain for sale for the duration of the exhibition.

The awards are open to all New Zealand artists. Artists may submit as many paintings as they wish. Each painting must be accompanied by an entry form and the entry fee of $20. Paintings need not be entered in a specific category. All paintings will have their medium stated on them.
