We advise two big bands have confirmed attendance - meaning we now have over 100 performers playing - the Royal New Zealand Navy Band - play the Whangamata RSA and The Auckland City Band will play the Whangamata Club.

Our line up includes the Kevin Clark Trio - winners of 2 "NZ Jazz albums of the year" Dan Papirany, Katy Soljak, Gahu, Alan Brown Trio, Brilleaux, Emma Paki, Caitlan Smith and our international guest - Renee Geyer and her band.

Over 90 music sets will be played at 25 venues by over 35 artists including nearly all cafes, restaurants and clubs. A Ohui Wines Jazz Boat will take you for an hour Cruise all day Saturday and Sunday and Streets Ice Cream Double Decker Jazz bus will be making regular trips to featured venues. A free fair Saturday and Sunday 10am - 2.00pm with up to 60 stalls with free music and a free "Creative New Zealand" music workshop.

An art competition features in 12 venues and will be followed by an auction for the best from each venue. A painting from Grant Simpson has been donated and will be raffled via your official programme.

From round about to roundabout in Port Road Whangamata all venues are FREE. Paid concerts include three at the Memorial Hall for Kevin Clark and Dan Papirany that cost $20 each, and one at the Titoki Golf Club with a meal and show for $35.

Renee Geyer's outdoor show is $39 for adults and $5 for children. Food and drink available. Tickets available from Gold Diggers Liquor Stores and I-Sites Peninsula wide, and from 1st October 2008 for Renee Geyer Adult tickets only.
