Born and raised in Hong Kong, Jennifer started learning the organ from Samuel Tong, and the harpsichord with Joyce Lindorf, after graduating from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in music, she obtained a scholarship to study the organ with Wolfgang Rübsam at Northwestern University (USA) where she obtained a Master of Music degree and Performance Certificate with honour.

Further studies in organ performance in France with Susan Landale at the Conservatoire National de Région de Rueil-Malmaison, she was awarded the Prix d’Excellence and the Prix de Virtuosité à l’unanimité avec les felicitations du jury.

She specialised her studies in French baroque and North German repertoire with Michel Bouvard and Jan Willem Jansen at the Centre d’Etudes Supérieurse de Musique et Danse in Toulouse and obtained the Premier Prix d’Orgue à l’unanimité in the cadre of Toulouse des Orgues International Festival. In 2003 she won Mention Spéciale du jury as a finalist in the Biarritz International Organ Competition.

Over the years, Jennifer has performed in the US, UK, Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, and in Australia including venues such as St Gilles' Cathedral in Edinburgh, Toulouse Cathedral, Notre-Dame de Paris, Westminster Abbey, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Adelaide and Melbourne Town Halls, St Paul’s and St Patrick's Cathedrals in Melbourne, Sydney University, and in festivals in Hong Kong, Denmark, Germany, Italy, and Australia. Jennifer migrated to Australia in 2004. At present, she is Director of Music at St John’s Anglican Church Camberwell and she teaches the organ at Australian Catholic University (Melbourne).
