Internationally acclaimed and immaculately dressed, Mikelangelo and the Black Sea Gentlemen have performed their visceral and intoxicating Kabaret Noir to packed houses from Budapest to the Sydney Opera House and back, enthralling audiences wherever they go.
In concert Mikelangelo commands the stage with his thunderous baritone. He is part-ringmaster, part-crooner, part-beast possessed. The Black Sea Gentlemen are his formidable musical ensemble featuring, Rufino the Catalan Casanova on violin, The Great Muldavio on clarinet, Guido Libido on piano accordion and Little Ivan on double bass. Together they waltz, tango and polka their way through a show bristling with humour, pathos and beauty.
Mikelangelo transforms the Glenroy into an Eastern European Kabaret for three fabulous nights.
“These are performers at the top of their game” - The Scotsman (UK)
“ . . . exuberant, faintly disturbing and extremely funny” - The Independent (UK)
“ . . . riotous fun and frankly unforgettable” - The List (UK)
