23 October sees the launch of the North Island tour of Tiki Taane and his band, starting as per his tradition in Hamilton - this time at the acoustically superb Waikato University venue Telecom Playhouse. Dubbing his band " The Dub Soldiers", Tiki brings us his usual stellar lineup featuring members of the band Shapeshifter as well as new drummer on board, Jason Johnston of Jakob fame (also supported by DJ Advokit).

Currently the most highly nominated NZ artist up for six awards at the Vodafone NZ Music Awards (held and televised on October 8), Tiki's ever growing popularity is apparent through the Number 1 success of his love ballad "Always On My Mind". Notably the first ever digital single to achieve platinum sales, his debut solo album "Past Present Future" featuring the tune is also currently enjoying platinum success.

With their usual popular merchandise available, Tikidub Productions will also launch some new products over the four dates particularly the "Always On My Mind" ring, TIKIBUB tshirts for children and Reitiki slipmats for DJs.

An event not to be missed, this tour is the last time Tiki will play his material with his fullblown band this year before embarking on the Shapeshifter summer tour as solo acoustic support artist and soundman. Book the date near you into your diary now and check below for ticket outlets.
