Sinate: Whangarei
Where: The Zone Bar at the Grand Hotel, Bank St, Whangarei District
Kiwi heavy metal band Sinate are heading out on a New Zealand before heading to Texas to record their 3rd album with the legendary the Sterling Winfield.
Sinate formed in June 2005, by September that same year they had recorded and released their debut album ‘Beyond Human’. The album reached No. 6 on the NZ Independant music charts. This was followed up with ‘Violent Ambitions’ released in October 2006.
In their 2 years of being together Sinate has played over 80 shows from Whangarei to Invercargill, in Australia and Sweden. Sinate played the Main Stage at Auckland's Big Day Out in Jan 07 and have supported a number of international metal band including Suffocation, God Forbid and the almighty Slayer.
Sinate have plans to tour Australia, USA, Europe and Japan in the near future.
