Through the Glass, presented by Hagley Dance Company, is a production which incorporates the use of dance in multimedia and uses film to reproduce and reinvent dance in a way which conveys new messages and where new ideas are communicated.

The Show has been choreographed by tutors and leading Contemporary figures in New Zealand dance, Sheryl Robinson, Fleur De Their and Megan Plat. Works have also been created by the students, using solo material to recreate group pieces, expanding choreographic knowledge; and Amy-Leigh Broadstock has created work using multimedia and live dance. The show is fast paced and laced with multimedia dance videos created by the students and choreographers.

The season runs from August 25th to August 26th and tickets are available through our website, www.hagleydance.co.nz
