'The Brave Don’t Run’ debuted at #1 on NZ iTunes and #2 on NZ Top 40 Chart (in July it was certified gold approaching platinum), with 5 singles having been in the NZ Top 40 so far.

Dane Rumble - At first glance, the enigmatic anthem “Always Be Here” seems to have air–dropped over radio out of nowhere since February 2009, becoming a genre–defying game–changer that has put the alluring artist smack in the middle of his own genre. Dane Rumble is no stranger to the music industry after spending the best part of 2007/8 touring and working with the Fast Crew who were signed to Warner Music in Australia and had 3 top 5 singles and album a mutual decision to split the band was decided and Dane continued to develop his own sound. The single “Always Be Here” which generated a huge buzz at radio and stayed in the top 20 for 16 weeks reached #2 on the local radio chart, #12 on the singles chart and #1 on iTunes Rock chart. The follow up single “Don’t Know What To Do” was another huge hit, peaking at number #1 on the NZ top 40 chart, #10 on the sales chart whilst “Always be here” was simultaneously #10 on the radio chart.

Pistol Youth - Pistol Youth started out as an experiment throughout 2007 when singer and guitarist Bradley Hanan Carter was on a world tour with Kiwi rock band ‘Steriogram’. He realised starting a new band wouldn’t be something to happen any time soon, Bradley chose three of his close friends from other bands around the world and recorded a six track EP across the internet without the other members actually meeting. The EP experiment worked so well that Bradley flew the other members of Pistol Youth to Los Angeles this January to finally meet, write and record material for the upcoming full length album, due in early 2009. 2009 Saw the band finish the epic ‘Golden Girls’ video for the second single ‘In My Eyes’ the video was featured front page of Pitchfork Media, and has already had over 50,000 plays, as well as being selected to appear in the LA film festival alongside Radiohead and Santigold.
