The Dirty Brothers Sideshow present The Dark Party starring three internationally successful circus, sideshow and music performers who take inspiration from art-house cinema and the ethos of punk rock, creating a new form of extreme visceral theatre.

Enter The Dirty Brothers, a trio of dark vagrant-like souls attempting to perform outrageous feats of endurance for your edification, and ultimate ‘pleasure.’

The Dirty Brothers feature sideshow maestro Shep Huntly, member of the ground breaking Happy Sideshow, veteran of more than 10 Edinburgh festivals and a regular guest on the ABC's Sideshow. The Great Gordo Gamsby, a performer who exploded a few years ago onto the sideshow scene with a devil-may-care attitude to danger and a desire to push the boundaries of what is humanly possible, he is also a member of last years Fringe darlings The Opposable Thumbs. Finally, Pat Bath ex-member of Melbourne underground music legends The Dead Salesmen and founding member of Circus in a Suitcase has written, directed and performed in more shows than he can remember.

All three are also members of the hugely successful Fringe show The League of Sideshow Superstars and as The Dirty Brothers last year rocked the main stage at the Moomba festival.

Swords, whips, broken glass, staple guns, singing saws, power tools and car batteries are just some of the co-stars of this sideshow spectacular.

‘Rising from the embers of The Happy Sideshow, ‘The Dark Party’ has exploded on to the international festival scene. A fusion of physical comedy and hardcore sideshow stunts, this is a dreamscape of deranged delights. Surreal, sublime and just plain funny, think Samuel Beckett meets The Tokyo Shock Boys…The Dirty Brothers is a suave sideshow by three men who will eat, step on or hang from their nipples just about anything.’
