Kids in Cars wishes to invite you all to the John Andrew Ford and Mazda 2009 Camp Quality family track day.

For the past four years we have put on a track/family fun day at Pukekohe Park Raceway.

For those of you who don’t know who Camp Quality is – they are a no-profit organisation who cares for children aged between 5-16 living with cancer.

You too can be a part of the huge fun family fun day!

Next year’s event is planned for the 4 January 2009. We also run a truck convoy and the Mothers car club show’n’shine on the day.

This year we had 309 big rigs track side – this also was a spectacular site coming down the Southern Motorway.

We will shortly opening up the website for driver to register to take the kids and members of the public for rides around the track – the speed on the track is a set limit – and this is monitored by members of the NZ Police.

To register for this please check out the website below.

For next year we will be attempting a Guinness world record for the biggest convoy of trucks – to break this record we need 417 trucks . . . so if you have a truck or know someone with a truck – please let them know about this event – as we would love to crack this record for the kids!

As part of the family day out, we have a variety of fun rides track side, bouncy castles, chair-o-plane rides, mini Jeep rides . . . and the best part, rides in cars and trucks around the track. Public rides start from only $5 per person.

Also we are lucky enough to have a number of celebrity race car drivers on site . . . to date we have had racing Ray Williams,Andy Booth,Paul Manuall Angus Fogg - to name a few-so start saving up – get the word out – and get ready to help us raise some funds for camp quality.
