I.Nation winds up summer and the festival season once again in the idyllic west Canterbury valley of Whitecliffs for the third year running.

Quoted as “The Outdoor Party of the Year” (NZ Musician Magazine) I.Nation 2008 attracted festival goers from all over NZ and Australia who witnessed one of Shapeshifter’s most mind blowing performances to date.

On 21 and 22 March 2009 this legendary festival site will once again host a lineup of Aotearoa’s finest musical talents including heavy weight live performances from TIKI Live and Little Bushman and performances from Ladi 6, P.Diggsss and Sambora (Shapeshifter), Oakley 'OG' Grenell Sunshine Soundsystem and Dubwize

Now in it’s third year the I.Nation festival is spread over two days with two zones, displaying the finest in Drum n Bass, Jungle, Reggae, Dancehall, Hiphop, Dubstep, Jazz, Funk, Soul and Breaks. There will be camping and café facilities so that you can enjoy the full outdoor experience that I.Nation has to offer.

Whitecliffs has witnessed some of the most legendary events in NZ’s music history. From 1983 to 1995 the site was used for the well known Whitecliffs family music festivals. As New Zealand music evolved - so did the style of outdoor parties. Whitecliffs then became host to some of this country’s finest outdoor dance events including En-Train, The Gathering and New Beginnings.

I.Nation 2009 will be an event not to be missed.

This year we are proud to bring you Tiki Live! Renowned for his captivating live performances, Tiki will be gracing the stage with a full backing band, bringing you his unique Tiki Live experience, a must see performance enriched in Aotearoa’s roots and culture. 2008 has been a big year for Tiki Taane with the release of his single ‘Always on my mind’ and his album ‘Past, Present, Future’ gaining best roots album in the NZ Vodafone Music Awards. This year Tiki returns to the stage with full backing band Tiki Live, this performance will go down in NZ music history.

P.DIGSSS and SAMBORA (Shapeshifter)
Setting dancefloors alight all over the world, well known drum and bass producer Sambora teams up with fellow Shapeshifter front man and un-disputed king of soulful vocals, P.Digsss for a special DJ/MC performance that will blow your mind.

Formally known as front man for Trinity Roots and his work with Fat Freddys Drop, Warren Maxwell leads his new band pushing the boundaries of new age psychedelic rock. Influenced by Led Zeppelin, Hendrix and the Who whilst keeping it aimed directly at the heart of the NZ roots sound he helped pioneer.

Pushing the forefront of NZ hiphop, Ladi 6 is no stranger to the stage. With the recent release of her long awaited album ‘Time is not much’ Ladi 6 and partner in crime DJ Parks, will once again bless us with their soulful sound and melodic grooves.

Formed when DJ Downtown Brown and P Digsss got together for a jam in Queenstown in 2000 these guys have been doing it on a casual and irie basis ever since, adding more souljahs on the way. MC KPZ aka Killa Puha joined the family in 2001, followed by younger brother MC Switch in 2004.
