Orpheus Choir presents JS Bach's masterpiece retelling the story of the Passion. Top international tenor Gregory Massingham, singing the role of The Evangelist, brings to life the momentous events in Judea 2000 years ago, leading up to the Crucifixion of Jesus and the Easter Story.

with soloists Nicola Edgecombe (soprano), Ellen Barrett (alto) and Hadleigh Adams (bass), the Choir of Wellington Cathedral of St Paul, Douglas Mews (organ), Vector Wellington Orchestra and conductor Michael Fulcher.

The Very Rev'd Frank Nelson, the Dean of Wellington, will give a talk on The Passion story at 4.30pm in the Lady Chapel.
