Speaker: Hon. Pansy Wong
Topic: 'Her Journey and Women in Leadership’

Born in Shanghai, China. The minister grew up in Hong Kong. She moved to New Zealand in 1974. Was a resident of Christchurch for 28 years before moving to Auckland in 2002.

Over the past few years, she was a Canterbury Regional Councillor, Chairperson of Finance Standing Committee (1989-1991) and entered Parliament as New Zealand's first MP of Asian ethnicity (1996). First MP of Asian ethnicity to win a seat - Botany (2008)

Registration will open prior to lunch at 11.45am, with networking between 11.45am -12.30pm. Lunch will be served at 12.30pm, with the speaker coming on at 12.40pm. Please remember to bring lots of business cards and brochures for the table/goodie bags.
