Come and listen to a real business intelligence war story straight from the field and then participate in a interactive debriefing session led by an experts panel of artificial intelligence researchers, innovators and business intelligence solution providers.

Business Intelligence (BI) is a well worn industry term but just how intelligent is it?

Ben Gracewood ( our guy from the 'front' (who is also a great storyteller) has volunteered to share one of his recent experiences with a large fast moving consumer goods company implementing a BI system to manage demand forecasting.

We will then hand the discussion over to the experts panel to review that experience and share some insight into possible artificial intelligence capabilities and BI solutions that could be applied to the requirements. Later in the discussion there will be some time set a side for attendees to put their questions or suggestions to the experts panel.

Who should attend: Anyone who is thinking of getting more knowledge out of the business data they are amassing on a daily basis. Anyone who thinks that the answers lie in the numbers but has no way of demonstrating that with their current technology. Anyone who is interested in or is studying artificial intelligence and wants to actually apply what they are learning. Anyone who is open to new technology and innovation solving today's business problems.

This event is open to NZCS members and non-members, registration is essential (as there are limited places).
