The WW1 play by R.C. Sherriff that swept the world when first produced in 1927 has recently had acclaimed revivals in London & New York.

A group of British soldiers in a dugout in the trenches endure the military nightmare with stiff upper lip, courage and camaraderie, whiskey - even races with earwigs!

After almost four years at the front, Captain Stanhope is near breaking point. The arrival of 17 year old Raleigh, to the company of his former hero at school, is an emotional flashpoint for Stanhope which cannot be defused by the ironic humour or practical counsel of his men. Outside the guns pound away, mortar shells smack the ground and the verey lights rise and fall, and there are eerie silences.

It is the eve of the big German Offensive.

Adults $26, Concession $21, Students $15, Children $12, Groups 10+ $21.
