***Hoxton Whores***

It’s a wonder the Hoxton Whores have time to eat or sleep considering they are probably the busiest duo in dance music! The coming together of great minds stems back to when the pair, Gary Dedman and Kevin Andrews created one of the UK’s biggest and most successful independent dance music distribution companies – Essential Direct. Having the world’s upfront music at their finger tips means they are always ten steps ahead of the rest. If you’re on a dance floor and the Hoxton Whores are at the helm – you’ll soon know about it! Their back catalogue reads like a dance music bible… their tour diary like an airline departure board... to put it simply – the Hoxton Whores are massive!

In the studio the boy’s have churned out well over 300 dance floor smashes under their signature guise of ‘Hoxton Whores’, and aliases: Stereo Scum, Disco Darlings and Fun Da Mentalists. Their remixology reads like the A-Z of the world’s biggest artists from Deep Dish, David Morales, Arrola, Faithless to Leftfield… whilst their cheeky bootlegs are infamous on the club scene.

***Aston Shuffle***

It takes a special man to pose in his pajamas holding aloft a carnation, but the talent and specialness of these particular men is not limited to posing. Hailing from Canberra, Vance Musgrove and Mikah Freeman have stormed onto the international dance scene with remixes of Green Velvet’s ‘Shake & Pop’ (which featured on the Ministry of Sound 2007 Kid Kenobi Sessions), Claude Von Stroke’s ‘The Whistler, Rocket Man ‘Candy’ (featured on the 2007 Ministry of Sound Annual), Chris Lake’s ‘Carry me Away’ and Malente’s ‘Killer Applikation' (from Ministry of Sounds Kink Vol 2).

The year 2007 saw the release of their much-awaited debut release ‘For Everyone’ (which features on the 2007 Ministry of Sound Annual, and the Klaus Hill remix features on the 2008 Clubbers Guide). The buzz on this record across the globe has been outstanding, with support from the likes of Plump DJs, Switch and Claude Von Stroke, to name a few.
