Act Up Promotions is proud to present the inaugural ‘Rockers Anonymous’ event in Auckland to delight music fans who like their music a little harder and heavier than usual.

Aimed at providing relief for those who suffer from "rock addiction", three of Auckland’s top rock bands have been confirmed although it’s unclear at this stage whether it’s to benefit the audience or the musicians performing!

Redline return home to play their first New Zealand show in one and a half years.

This four piece alternative rock/metal group have been breaking ground in the United Kingdom promoting their debut CD ‘Trapped Inside’, performing alongside Disturbed, P.O.D. and Alter Bridge on the Music As A Weapon tour.

“I can’t wait to play 'Rockers Anonymous' as it’s been far too long since our last New Zealand shows and besides, you never forget your roots!” speaks Redline front man Chris Yong enthusiastically.

Also confirmed to play are These Four Walls who have been exceptionally busy spreading their brand of Kiwi rock throughout Australasia.

Since releasing their debut album ‘Down Falls An Empire’ in September 2009, highlights for these four lads include performing alongside Nickelback as well as wooing Australian audiences at the Big Sound 09 summit in Brisbane.

Rounding out the evening is The Gaze whose unique fusion style of rock, metal and groove offers an alternative yet complimentary element to complete the 'Rockers Anonymous' line-up.

Their debut record ‘Circa 2009’, released in May 2009, may have snuck under the radar of the general public however you’d be hard pressed to find a copy anywhere as most were snapped up by rock fans in the know.

To anyone who suffers from "rock addiction", don’t miss 'Rockers Anonymous' at Kings Arms, Thursday 4 March 2010.
