Vying for the title of Auckland’s most popular school exhibition, the 2010 Exhibition & Sale of Contemporary Art at Kohia Terrace School in Epsom will be held on the weekend of 11 - 13 June.

Now in its sixth year, the exhibition will be staged in the School Hall at 3 Kohia Terrace, Auckland (off Gillies Ave) and will feature contemporary artwork, both local and national, including fine art, glass, sculpture and ceramics. All money raised through the exhibition will be used to support the school.

The exhibition will feature works by New Zealand favourites including Billy Apple, Tony Lane, Jeff Thomson, Richard Killeen, Richard Mathieson, Nicky Foreman, Mark Olsen, Peter Collis, Paul Woodruffe, and many more.

Says Chairperson Cathy Manning: “This is such an exciting event for our small primary school. Each year the standard and variety of art just gets higher and higher. There really is something for everyone, from first time art buyers to experienced collectors. We will be working hard again to retain our reputation and to keep the Kohia Terrace exhibition firmly on the Auckland art map.”
