The ‘twins’, first discovered at the 1997 Hero Parade, have developed their craft to become New Zealand’s favourite Drag Artistes. Buffy & Bimbo’s more recent Wellington appearance was as hosts of the renowned theatrical extravaganza, ‘Queen of the Whole Universe’ and you may recall seeing the duo on TV dancing with John Key. Who’s image were they trying to lift, their own or that of New Zealand’s PM?

Buffy & Bimbo have been entertaining audiences for over 13 years with appearances at WOW, Te Papa’s 10th Birthday Party, the Hawke's Bay Hospitality Awards, Nelson Arts Festival, and hosting their own cabaret venue in Valencia, Spain. TV appearances include TV 1’s Good Morning and Breakfast and TV3’s Sunrise and Nightline.

In February 2010 the ‘girls’ were awarded the Ourfest Recognition of Achievement Award which joins their other awards including, New Zealand’s Favourite Drag Queens (gaynz.com) and the Golden Stilettos’ Best Drag Duo.

“Upfront and Personal” features the girl’s favourite songs( lip-sync of course), dance routines, interactive game show, celebrity interview, local guest performers and not forgetting ‘question time’, when the girls demonstrate their ad lib skills by answering probing questions from you the audience. Be prepared for the night as it will be “upfront and personal”.
