Planet 2010 is a two-day communications and technology conference being held at the SKYCITY Convention Centre, 12 - 13 March 2010.

The Planet communications and technology conference will showcase, over two days, the latest innovations in communications technology from some of New Zealand's smartest companies.

Day One will feature technology showcases, specific presentations and breakout sessions catering to a business audience. You will be treated to international keynote speaker Buzz Aldrin along with targeted presentations foor five industry sectors on telecommunications solutions.

Planet 2010 is not so much about high-tech hardware, it's the chance for you to discover the smarts and capabilities of a wide range of companies. And marvel at what they can do for you and your business.

Day Two will cater to a general audience and feature interactive exhibitions and a showcase of the hottest end user products and innovations.

Some of New Zealand’s most exciting bands and solo artists will give an intimate live performance at Planet 2010 including Midnight Youth, The Checks, J Williams, Savage, Scribe and MC Dai Henwood. - but there’s a very interesting twist.

After each performance, the artists will be interviewed live on stage and answer questions submitted by the audience. It’s a great chance to up close and personal with your favorite musicians!

Join us and celebrate the New Zealand’s National Schools Challenge champions. Over 100 schools and 100s of students have taken part in the first National Schools challenge run by the TIG. There have been 5 inspiring competitions: Design, Story Writing, Photography, Music and Maths – and this is the final prize-giving announcement.
