More than 150 Alpaca owners throughout New Zealand will open their farms to the public to promote alpacas, alpaca fibre, and alpaca products. This is one day a year when we can all celebrate alpacas and share the joy of owning them with anyone who wishes to visit. National Alpaca Day has been set as Sunday 2nd May 2010.

Sonric Suri Alpacas located at 71 Turntable Hill Road, Katikati, Bay of Plenty, 0274 766 742 will be opening their farm for visitors from 10am – 4pm on Sunday 2nd May, National Alpaca Day.

We have alpacas for you to feed, and take for a walk, plus people on hand to answer any questions you might have regarding the rare and magnificent Suri alpacas and their husbandry. We will also have product on display and for sale.
