Two of Scotland's finest traditional musicians in concert. Gregor Borland (fiddle) and Sandy Brechin (accordion) will entertain you with their flashy fingers, dazzling duets and witty humour, not to be missed!

A master Scottish fiddler, Gregor Borland grew up in Inverness and learned from some of the most acclaimed teachers around, going on to win numerous fiddle championships. He keeps true to his traditional musical roots by playing pipe marches, reels, airs, and in particular, strathspeys as they were taught to him, choosing to keep the old tradition alive. He now in demand all over the world, both as a teacher and as a performer, and runs his own traditional fiddle school in Spain.

Sandy Brechin grew up in Kirkliston, West Lothian and has been playing the accordion for twenty years. In fact, he has been playing the same accordion (albeit with a few minor repairs) for the last twenty years. He has developed his own unique approach to the art of accordion playing and his innovative style is instantly recognisable.

Over the years, Sandy has played in many bands, but is probably best known for his work with the Scottish bands, Bùrach and Seelyhoo, with whom he has toured extensively in Europe, Canada, the USA, and the Far East. On the rare occasions when he is not touring with the bands, he still plays for ceilidh dances with his own hugely popular electric ceilidh band, "The Sensational Jimi Shandrix Experience".
