The Bach Choir of Wellington, directed by Stephen Rowley, present 'Taverner to Tavener', - ajourney through six centuries of English choral music.

This concert will feature a variety of pieces composed by both giants and now-obscure figures in the English choral tradition: John Taverner (he of the 16th century), Thomas Morley, John Dowland, Henry Purcell, Jonathan Battishill, Charles Villiers Stanford, Ralph Vaughn Williams, and John Tavener (he of the 21st century.)

This collection of music, accompanied by Douglas Mews on organ and utilising the beautiful acoustic of Sacred Heart Cathedral, should make for an afternoon of beautiful music. We hope to see you there!
