This November, New Plymouth will play host to the New Zealand Tattoo & Art Festival, which is set to be the biggest and boldest of its kind in New Zealand.

The New Zealand Tattoo & Art Festival, promoted by Oni Events and presented by Kentucky State Bourbon and Cola, will showcase some of the top international and local tattoo artists and expose the public to the history, art and culture of tattooing, with over 140 artists confirmed, the bi-annual festival is set to become a permanent fixture on the international tattoo and art calendar. Along with tattooing, the festival will feature live music by Shotgun Alley, Devilskin, Leeches and World War Four; aerial artist Venus Star and burlesque performer Eva Strangelove plus art exhibitions, tattoo competitions, graffiti art displays and more.

Oni Events are proud to present to you renowned artists from around the world, such as Dan Smith, who shot to prominence working at High Voltage Tattoo in Los Angeles with the famous Kat Von D. Dan is one of the stars on ‘LA Ink,’ the hit TV show which plays on Discovery Travel and Living around the world. Sabado from Eccentric Super Tattoo in Japan, Tebori master (japanese traditional method of tattooing) Horitsuna who has won several awards in recent years at major shows, Chris 51 from Area 51 Tattoo in America,John Montgomeryfrom California, Mick Squires & Steve Cross from Korpus Tattoo, Marco & Lara from Trafficanti D’arte in Italy, Bobby James from Malaysia, Sam, Ael & the Gimme Love crew all the way from Singapore, Josh Roelink from Tatudharma & Justin Acca & the Devils Ink boys.
