Spring has sprung and the villagers are celebrating! On the third Sunday of every month (excluding December) the whole village is filled with activity, as up to 30 costumed villagers go about their daily tasks.

The visiting 65th Regiment has an encampment and performs military duties including cannon firing (on occasions) and musket drill. A blacksmith's forge is in operation, and a bodger works on his pole lathe, turning wood.

Call into the general store or visit cottages where you can sample food cooked over the fires, or learn about everyday crafts and activities. You can experience a Victorian school lesson, take part in a church service, and enjoy various forms of entertainment.

Normal admission charges apply on live days, which run from 10am to 4pm.
