Only a few days remain until the grand finale play off; Around 60 musicians making up the 14 National Finalist bands are preparing to impress what will surely be a full house at Auckland’s legendary live music venue The Kings Arms Tavern this Saturday night. A mixed array of musical styles will be on display with some of NZ’s best new band’s performing a passionate, exciting & polished 15 minute set…

Two months of eliminations throughout the country saw over 100 bands battle it out; some fantastic new talent has been unearthed as well as some prior favourites returned to up the ante on their performances.

Don’t miss this monumental last show; 14 Bands will hit the stage at the final event; ensuring an entertaining, fast moving, fun night of live music for music fans to enjoy.

Battle of the Bands National Championship is presented by Juice TV, The Rock & Hell Pizza. The winning band will record a single at York Street Studios, as well as receive fantastic musical equipment prizes from Jansen, Audio Technica and Allen & Heath. Holiday Inn, Wellington also supported the event this year.

With Vodafone and Run the Red, fans are now able to TXT vote (Free with Vodafone, 20c with Other Networks) for their favourite National Final band.
Results will be a mixture of Judges and TXT votes; so everyone Nationwide has a chance to have their say…TXT voting is open now, running until the end of the Final night on Saturday 25th September…
