You need to be registered into BTC31 course to apply.

BTC 31 has decided to produce some of your films to excellent standards. If you have a script idea / outline or even have a script written that you would like to make with the dedicated assistance of our professional crew, then contact us now! btc@stac.school.nz

Your script should:
- be no longer than 5 minutes as a potential finished film.
- have a small number of core characters.
- have at least one crowd scene.
- be able to be shot in Christchurch. We have – schools, parks, river, shops, city streets, broken buildings, forest, etc… (Please nothing in the mountains or at sea…)
- have limited special effects (– unless that is your specialty!) as it takes too long in post-production

We will provide you with an experienced director, a professional director of photography, a professional 1st assistant director, filming equipment and editing facilities. One of your professional crew will also be a competent editor.

On the Tuesday of the course you and the professional crew will audition cast and seek additional crew.

On the Wednesday you will film. On Thursday you will edit!

Monday, Friday and Saturday you will be involved with studio items and other fun things!

Email Franc your script outline, synopsis and script by midnight Wednesday 30 March 2011. btc@stac.school.nz

The week that could change your life. At last! You can do it! Be that director, producer, or actor that you’ve wanted to be. You can sing or dance in a real television studio. One that has all the lights, cameras and microphones you need to make a proper TV show. You can drive one of the cameras, manage the 28 channel sound board, present, vision switch, or even direct the live show.

Make a film, commercial, documentary, music video... Record your own band!

You will learn from people who work in the TV and film industry – taking you from understanding just a touch of how to make a TV and films, to producing your own live television show by the end of the week. Spend a whole week with students just like you, who love the thought of making movies, music videos, TV shows.

Feel the magic. Experience the excitement as you learn how to make this fantastic industry your life, your future. Or perhaps you just want to have your most exciting week ever.
