Partners Relief & Development NZ work with displaced people on the Thai-Burma border.

During November 2011 we are touring through the North Island and upper South Island on Harleys, Triumphs and Nortons with journalist Rob Harley (Of 'Extreme Close Up' fame)! Rob will be speaking along with Partners Director Stu Corlett at various venues along the way about the work Partners are involved in and about the situation in Burma where these ethnic minority peoples are oppressed and run off their land by the military regime that illegally rules their country. Come and be informed and challenged - and get involved!

See Partners' website for more details about their work and/or get involved: www.partnersworld.org.nz

Rob Harley and the Partners team will be speaking at two venues in the Wellington area:
November 16 - Lifepoint Church, 61 Hopper Street, Wellington, 7pm
November 26 - Lane Park, Christian Fellowship in Upper Hutt, 16 Lane Street, Upper Hutt, 7pm

Big Bikes will also be present at two other events Partners are running in November - the Run for Relief and the Hope for the Child of War art exhibition. See other postings... and details on our website.
