The Line up
The headline act is the Warratahs whose flame just keeps on burning….an iconic kiwi band with a unique blend of lyrical poetry on a bed of country rock & roll.

Supporting the Waratahs will be popular local band the Eastern, a Lyttelton band that roars like a punk band, that swings like a gospel band, that drinks like a country band, that works like a bar band, that hopes like folk singers, and sings love songs like union songs, and writes union songs like love songs, and wants to slow dance and stand on tables, all at the same time.

Also taking the stage will be the Ranchsliders with an impressive line-up featuring the rhythm section from the iconic Coalrangers band - drummer Alan Cattermole and bassist Geoff Farmar, keyboardist John Sanchez-Lloyd and notable guitarist Phil Doublet. Rounding off the Ranchsliders line-up for the inaugural Mandeville Music Festival will be special guest pedal steel maestro Paddy Long, who has long been in demand as a session musician and backing player in New Zealand and abroad.

Performing alongside the Ranchsliders will be Jody Direen, a rising star in the world of country rock music.

The Easy Hearts deliver their own brand of acoustic style blues-infused melodies and broken down lullabies. The band has a strong collection of original material as well as a swag of flavoursome covers from favourite artists from whom they draw inspiration

Getting it all started will be The Haze, a young rock band making an impact on the local music scene. Winners of Chartfest 2011 with a mixture of covers and original tracks. This band will impress.
