Goldenhorse was formed in 1999 by Geoff Maddock and Kirsten Morrell, after they ended up playing in a wedding band together. They recruited some more members, played live a lot and by 2003 they released their first album 'Riverhead'. In 2010 the members of the band decided to take a break, with solo projects, new bands and other musical work taking up much of everyone's time. The opportunity to play live again has come up once again for Rugby World Cup 2011, and everyone in the band is excited about this forthcoming show.
Live in The Cloud is free to the public and is part of the REAL New Zealand Festival.
